FORGIVENESS

Meaning: n 1: compassionate feelings that support a willingness to forgive 2: the act of excusing a mistake or offense.

And oh! Boy! Is this a hard word for all of us to actually be able to comply to? Biblically speaking there is a biblical passage that is very popular and interesting:

Matt 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
Imagine able to forgive 70 x 7 times to those who do wrong up on us? It is hard to tell I guess. It is a fact that Christ gave a mandate to the apostles when he said:

Col 3:13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
Even back then the stress that Christ had on his apostles was big in regards to forgiveness .Once more he says to his apostles :

Pay attentions to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him."

Luke 17: 3 -4
Mar 11:25 (Jesus) And when you stand and pray, forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done."

All excellent messages come from God through Christ his son and our Savior. To A guide us in the path of life. Gods word is the book he left us to guide our lives in there we will find anything and everything we need . To live better lives.
